Care Instructions

All Woodland Creations products can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.

Items finished in Tung Oil must be kept dry until fully cured. This can take up to 30 days after application of the finishing oil.

Outdoor signs and furniture need to be maintained every 2-3 years. A UV protective top-coat may need to be reapplied to avoid weathering.

Please understand that each item is handmade and may have minor inconsistencies and imperfections. Occasionally, materials listed in product descriptions will be substituted for something similar when there are supply issues.

Although Woodland Creations designs their products with safety in mind, all products come with some risk. Children must be fully supervised by an adult while using any product advertised on this website, or Woodland Creations (@woodlandcreationsfsj) Instagram or Facebook pages.

Carefully inspect products for cracks and splintering areas before each use. Wood is a natural product that is prone to cracks and breaks, especially when knots are present, and with extended or improper use. Most items can easily be repaired with wood glue if cracking occurs.

Woodland Creations products are not designed for rough play, jumping on, etc. These items are not tested against any official safety standard or weight rating system.

All climbing items are designed for use on carpeted areas to avoid slipping.

Any screws or nuts should be checked for tightness periodically. Do not overtighten.

Items with small parts can be a choking hazard. Other hazards include, but are not limited to; slipping, falling, splinters, and pinched or squished fingers & toes.

By purchasing any Woodland Creations item, the consumer agrees to proper care, maintenance and use of the product(s) purchased as described above.
